nursing assistant program
The NDEC-L Nursing Assistant Program provides supportive, high quality education for compassionate caregivers to train for employment as nursing assistants and to pass the state certification exam. Our curriculum also includes Home Health Aide training. Students experience a blend of classroom instruction and skills practice, clinical experience, CPR/First Aid training, development of general employment and academic skills, and connection to local health care employers. Our program is subsidized by grants and donations by local foundations and individuals, so that the cost to students remains relatively low.
